It's Nurses week! My word is believe. I started Home health around 8 years ago from Geriatrics. It was time for a change and to believe in myself more, so I moved forward and that's how I first became involved with Aveanna. I truly am blessed; not only did I get a new job opportunity but a rewarding and satisfying one! To work with a good team in a great atmosphere is a breath of fresh air. You develop growth with your clients and watch miracles happen. The word believe to me is an important word not only for my inner self but for the company as a whole because when we believe in ourselves and our clients, we continue to grow and be our best to give the most outstanding care. Combine that with compassion, integrity, inclusion, trust, innovation, compliance, and fun (our core values), we strive with our best for each and every one.

I have been a nurse since 2008, and have worked in several areas of nursing. Pediatric, geriatric, hospice, and home health. I love being able to make a difference in someone's life, and giving them the quality care they deserve. 🙂♥️

Miracle and Nurse Carmel
Miracle really is a true life Miracle, he beat all the odds and survived and is thriving when doctors didn't think he would. His Mom preserved and with the help of Aveanna and the amazing bond he has formed with his nurse Carmel he continues to surprise us every day!

I believe that Nursing isn’t just a job, it’s a calling.

Nurse Tiffany - Atlanta South
I became a nurse because of my love of people. I don’t look at it as a job; I look at nursing as me caring for my family because each and every person I take care of is like family to me. Sometimes you come across people who don’t have family and you’re the closest to family for them, so it’s only right for me to be their family. I have developed such great relationships with my patients and their families, that I still keep in touch after they have passed way. I always hear from people how pure and genuine my heart is. That is just my personality. I love all my people and they’re all my family!!!
